This week, the alliances on Big Brother have been switched up quite dramatically. Once enemies, Jeff and Russell are now seeing things from the same point of view. In a startling new development, Michelle and Russell had begun to form quite the bond, surprising everyone, including Russell’s little minions Jessie, Natalie and Chima, and sending them all over the edge and into paranoia.
During last week’s HOH competitions, Jeff and Russell were the last two literally hanging on for dear life. They end up making a pact: Russell will win HOH and Jeff is 100 per cent safe. Russell, finally not able to trust either of them, puts up Lydia and Ronnie on the block. When Michelle wins her second power of veto, she decides it’s best not to use it right away.
The plan that follows this is that Jessie, Natalie and Chima want Ronnie to stay, while Russell, Michelle, Kevin, Jeff and Jordon want nothing more than to wave goodbye. By the end of this episode, we bid adieu to Ronnie (finally!) who did an awful job at trying to make us feel sorry for him. Not only is he the most socially-awkward person, but he was very rude (especially in that ridiculous farewell speech aimed at Michelle!).
With an exciting new twist, viewers phoned in and voted to decide which houseguest would get a new secret boost of power. Viewers chose Jeff as the winner of this power card called Coup D’Etat. This power can only be used one within two eliminations and it allows houseguest the power to overrule the current HOH and pick their own nominations.
Jeff before was at the bottom, but it seems he’s back on top with such awesome power in his hand and the fooling around he gets to do with housemate Jordan (this only happens when Ronnie doesn’t barge in and interrupt your showmance with his ridiculous rambling).
This week, Chima wins HOH and leaves the fate of all the BB players up in the air, once again.
Big Brother 11 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT and Thursdays at 8 p.m ET/PT, Global/CBS.
