Gia, you knew you had a boyfriend going into this. Why did you still think you were going to be able to make alliances and stay on the show?
Gia Allemand: Well, I did have a boyfriend going into this, we’d been on-and-off for three years, so I just went into it trying to be faithful to him, and make friends and get close to everyone as much as I could. I ended up getting closer to some people more so than others.

Jonathan, you and Craig had that big confrontation on The Bachelorette — you called him “dangerous.” What was it like to be back in the house with him?
Jonathan Novack: Am I Jonathan? I didn’t even know that was my name anymore. I get so confused with “The Weatherman.” [Laughs] It was fine, I went in with the mentality that if he wants to start something, then something would get started; otherwise, if he’s going to be cool, then so am I.

Gia, are you still in a relationship, and did the show create any friction between you and your boyfriend?
GA: I’m not going to share yet whether or not I’m in a relationship; I’m going to wait till the finale to tell everyone what’s up. My boyfriend’s a great guy and it was really hard for him, and it was hard for me to put him through that. I feel badly that I got close to another guy on the show, even though I didn’t cheat. My boyfriend handled everything with such class.

Jonathan, now that you’ve been watching the show, how do you feel about what the contestants have been saying about you behind your back?
JN: Elizabeth was really the only one, but I didn’t consider her a contestant. I consider contestants to be of a human form, not of a demonic form. If I don’t have respect for somebody, they can say whatever they want about me and it doesn’t faze me, and I don’t have any respect for people like that.

Gia, have you spoken to or seen Wes since you left the Bachelor Pad house?
GA: No, I haven’t spoken to him.

Do you think you guys might see each other once the show finishes airing?
GA: We’re going to see each other at the finale.

But would you see him other than that?
GA: I still have to see what happens in my life and where we can go from that.

Jonathan, did you play the guitar a lot in the house?
JN: Yeah, it was a common thing I guess. It wasn’t all the time.

Gia, you and Nikki disagreed over eliminating Kiptyn, but in the end it was actually Kiptyn who you were hoping would help save you from elimination. Do you regret telling him that you tried to vote him off?
GA: The difference between Kiptyn and I is I don’t lie to people’s face. I just say how it is and after watching last night’s episode and him saying, ‘I just lied to Peyton,’ kind of turned me off a little bit. I show my cards to everyone, I wear everything on my sleeve. It is what it is, I have nothing to hide and that was such a downfall for me.

Jonathan, was there anyone in particular in the house that you were hoping to strike up a relationship with?
JN: I would’ve been more aggressive with Gia, if she didn’t have a boyfriend.

Gia, if you could go back and do one thing differently, what would it be and why?
GA: I would’ve fully thought out more about the whole rose situation with Craig and Wes, and I would’ve talked to the girls beforehand.

Jonathan, you hated wearing a Speedo when you were on The Bachelorette. Why did you embrace it this time around?
JN: I initially hated the idea of wearing a Speedo and then I wore it, and now I think I look pretty good in a Speedo, don’t you think? It’s not my bathing suit of choice, not in the Top 3, but it’s definitely in the Top 30. It’s just like wearing some really small boxer shorts.

Jonathan, are you back to work as a weatherman or are you trying to get an entertainment career going?
JN: I’ve always been in entertainment at the news stations I’ve been at, whether it’s been red carpet stuff or [other segments]. And I used to do stand-up, so now I’m back into stand-up and I just moved to L.A. literally 12 hours ago so I’m just going to see where things progress.
