So much for happy holidays.
The Teutul boys, who are best known for starring in the hit TLC reality series American Chopper, are fighting a lawsuit – against each other.
Paul Teutul Sr. is suing his son, Paul Teutul Jr., over stock options in their motorcycle company, Orange County Choppers Holdings, Inc., reports TMZ.
Apparently, the father-and-son team had a deal in which Papa Teutul could purchase his kids’ stock in OCC, but now Junior is refusing to give it up.
Paul Sr. is looking to score damages in excess of $1 million, as well as a court order to force Paul Jr. to pass over his stocks.
Earlier this year, Paul Sr. fired his son from American Chopper after an explosive contract dispute. The boys tried to reconcile their differences, but after further problems, Paul Jr. decided to pursue his own interests. These days, he only appears on the show as a consultant.
American Chopper follows a custom motorcycle company as they create bikes in New York.
Season 6 debuted in April 2009. Look for new episodes to air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
