It looks as though Glee may be making beautiful music with more guest stars.
Neil Patrick Harris is close to signing a deal to appear in an episode of Glee, and that’s not even the best part. The May sweeps eppy will be helmed by Joss Whedon, his Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog director.
Also, Harris would reunite with Zachary Woodlee, who choreographed the musical number for How I Met Your Mother’s recent 100th episode.
The HIMYM star is definitely into it, but CBS has yet to give its approval to lend rival network Fox one of its biggest stars. There is some hopeful news, however. Both Glee and HIMYM are produced by 20th Century Fox, so that could bode well for a deal.
Fingers crossed.
During the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, and at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Glee creator Ryan Murphy told critics that he heard from many A-list celebs — including Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore — about how much they love the show, but one in particular might make an appearance — Jennifer Lopez.
“I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks,” Murphy. “She wants to come on. We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”
Now that is something that can’t be missed.
Glee returns with new episodes on April 13.
