They won the latest leg of The Amazing Race; now one of the detective competitors has been pulled off the streets for suspicion of ties to a cocaine ring.

TMZ.com says Louie Stravato, the 47-year-old narcotics detective from Rhode Island, has been put on “desk duty” along with three other officers after he was identified in a four-month investigation into a cop-operated cocaine distribution operation.

Three officers have been arrested as a result of the operation, but Stravato is not one of them.

Stravato and friend Michael Naylor, a 45-year-old police detective, made all the right moves this past Sunday night on The Amazing Race through Germany, where they scarfed down sauerkraut and chugged beer on their way to a first-place finish. They each scored a $5,000 gift card from Discover for their win.

Stravato’s biography on CBS’s Amazing Race contest page says he enjoys competing in power lifting competitions and mixed martial arts in his spare time.

It adds that he signed on to the reality program to “show my children that anything is possible as long as you put your heart and soul into it.”

The Amazing Race continues this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CTV/CBS.
