Perhaps Nicholas Brendon was influenced by all the bad stuff he was seeing during his Criminal Minds run.
The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, who also recurs on Criminal Minds, was arrested in Venice, Calif., after allegedly getting involved in a drunken scuffle with cops, reports TMZ.com.
Police were called to the area to investigate reports of an inebriated man causing a commotion, but when officers arrived at the scene, Brendon allegedly refused to co-operate and tried to run away.
Brendon was chased down and detained, and TMZ.com reports that he was even Tasered by officers during his attempted escape.
The actor was hospitalized and later charged with felony vandalism after allegedly damaging property during the incident.
Brendon was last seen on Criminal Minds in December, when he played Kevin Lynch, boyfriend of Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness).
He also co-starred in the short-lived Kitchen Confidential but is best known for his portrayal of Xander Harris on Buffy, which he played from 1997 to 2003.
